Rollercoaster? More Like a Rocket Ship!

A little life update from the world of catering chaos and big brand takeovers

Wow. Just… WOW.

What a wild, delicious, non-stop few weeks it’s been over here at Gold Button collective, honestly, it’s felt like riding a rollercoaster blindfolded! But do you know what? I’m loving every minute of it.

This little division I head up under Pearl Lemon Catering has been growing from strength to strength, and I don’t mean a slow simmer, I mean full-on flame-thrower energy.

In just the last couple of weeks, I’ve:

Locked in #Adidas for an epic event
Delivered #bubbletea magic in #Barcelona
Served up #coffee station excellence in #Milan
Fed the absolute unit legends of #WWE with fresh, nutritional catering (I won’t lie, working with Colby & the boys was EPIC!)

Like… how is this real life?

Every time I jump on a discovery call, I make it my mission to really get under the skin of the client’s vision. I’m not talking “what colour napkins” vibes,  I mean deep dive, understand-their-brand, match-their-energy kind of stuff.

Once the vision’s clear, BOOM  we’re locking it in, and I get to do my thing. And let’s be honest, closing deals that feel aligned, exciting, and a little bit cheeky? That’s my jam.

But I’m not out here solo.

Sure, I might be the one guiding things through and pulling together the plans, but none of this happens without my phenomenal team behind the scenes. From the exec team, the chefs and mixologists to the baristas, event staff and admin wizards, they are literally the glue holding this rocket ship together.
I’m blessed, and I don’t use that word lightly,  to be backed by such a powerful crew. They take the vision and elevate it to a whole new level.

(Also, shoutout to the ones who feed me when I forget to eat. You know who you are.)

Look,  I’m not gonna sugar-coat it (unless you’re asking for a doughnut wall, then absolutely). Some days I’m flat out from 6AM to midnight, running on oat lattes and adrenaline. But this vision, this mission, this mad journey? It’s worth every second.

We’re not just planning events,  we’re creating experiences that hit differently.

Weddings with meaning. Brand events with buzz. Team-building days with actual flavour.
